Climate tech companies can now access funded engineering and research talent through the UNSW JEINA x TRaCE Industry Secondment program.
This initiative connects organisations with highly skilled women researchers from migrant and refugee backgrounds for 3–6 month placements, helping tackle key R&D challenges — without hiring costs and with funding of up to $20,000.
The 2026 cohort brings expertise across:
- bio-waste to energy and renewable energy
- water and wastewater management
- air quality and atmospheric emissions
- waste management, resource recovery, and sustainability assessment
