Climate tech companies can now access funded engineering and research talent through the UNSW JEINA x TRaCE Industry Secondment program.

This initiative connects organisations with highly skilled women researchers from migrant and refugee backgrounds for 3–6 month placements, helping tackle key R&D challenges — without hiring costs and with funding of up to $20,000.

The 2026 cohort brings expertise across:

  • bio-waste to energy and renewable energy
  • water and wastewater management
  • air quality and atmospheric emissions
  • waste management, resource recovery, and sustainability assessment

Spots are limited — Expressions of Interest close on 24 April.
