We had an incredible time yesterday at the University of Newcastle’s Industry Open Day!
For six decades, the University has been opening doors, pioneering research, fostering innovation, and partnering with industry to drive progress across our region.
Along with celebrating these achievements, Industry Open Day brought together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore new opportunities for professional development, research partnerships, and collaborative ventures.
Alongside our colleagues from the Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NIER), we enjoyed talking to attendees about how we can derisk their R&D and accelerate new clean energy and recycling technologies to market.
One way we can do this is by providing access to two new manufacturing facilities at the University of Newcastle: the Advanced Prototyping Facility and Modern Manufacturing Workshop. We were proud to show attendees through these state-of-the-art spaces and explore the possibilities they could unlock. If you’re interested in finding out more about when these will become available, register here to stay informed.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the University’s achievements, connect with regional industry, and continue building the relationships that will fuel our shared prosperity.
