Climate 10x

Climate 10x is specifically focused on fast-tracking the business growth of climate tech start-ups, whose innovation has a significant impact on emissions reduction or improves the resilience and adaptability of existing infrastructure to allow for the faster transition to renewable energy sources.

Climate 10x is proud to partner with Virescent Ventures, a specialist climate technology fund born out of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation that invests into startups accepted into the program. Virescent bring a depth of experience and understanding of what it means to build a climate tech company and are committed to scaling founders, technologies and businesses that help achieve zero emissions and beyond.

Through UNSW Founders, TRaCE and Virescent, Climate 10x is backed by climate experts, industry, research & capital partners who provide the relevant networks knowledge and infrastructure to help build and scale a deep-tech company in a developing industry.

All program participants benefit from:

  • 10 weeks’ accelerated learning from leading entrepreneurial & defence industry experts and founders 1:1 tailored mentoring and coaching
  • up to $400,000 in seed funding
  • weekly 1:1 meetings with our Experts-in-Residence

I2N Cleantech Accelerator

I2N Cleantech Accelerator

The I2N Cleantech Accelerator is designed to build the capability and competitiveness of tech-enabled entrepreneurs within the Hunter region across the sectors of clean energy, clean water, recycling and waste, supply chain, built environment, air quality and transportation.

Leveraging partnerships with TRaCE and the Port of Newcastle, program participants can access assistance across four phases:

  • application (open to all) – includes lean startup workshops, a founder matchmaking event and 1:1 application support
  • pre-accelerator (for up to 10 teams) – includes targeted workshops, 1:1 entrepreneur in residence support, and access to software and vouchers
  • accelerator (for up to 5 teams) – includes a total of $20,000 seed funding, coworking, 1:1 mentoring, workshops, AMAs and panel sessions, investor pitching and office hours
  • incubator (for Accelerator teams) – includes coworking, PR support, scale-up workshops and team mentoring.
